ACT records 186 new COVID-19 cases

The ACT has recorded 186 new cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8 pm yesterday, including 92 identified by PCR and 94 by rapid-antigen tests (RAT).

There are now 120 people in hospital with the virus, including three in intensive care and one being ventilated.

Since the pandemic began, 200,343 cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the ACT.

Of the Territory’s five to 15 population, 77.9 per cent have received two doses of vaccine; 77.9 per cent of those aged 16 and over have received three doses; 55.2 per cent of those aged 50 and over have received four doses.

Interstate, NSW has reported 16 deaths overnight and 4,335 new cases of COVID-19.

Victoria has reported 18 deaths overnight and 2,437 new cases of COVID-19.
