Senator Kate Lundy is letting us know the winners announced yesterday of the National Volunteer Awards.

And the winners were:

    — Robin Moore, Winner, Individual Volunteer of the Year. Nominated by St Phillips Anglican Church
    — Sheila King, Highly commended, Individual Volunteer of the Year. Nominated by Pegasus
    — Nellie Drent, Winner, Long Term Commitment to Volunteering. Nominated by YMCA of Canberra
    — Pamela Mitchell, Highly commended, Long Term Commitment to Volunteering. Nominated by Companion House
    — Anthony Zografos, Winner, Under 25 Individual Volunteer of the Year. Nominated by Questacon
    — Radford College ‘teamSUPPORT’, Winner, Under 25 Team Volunteer of the Year. Nominated by YMCA of Canberra
    — OzHarvest Team, Winner, Team Volunteer of the Year Award. Nominated by Communities @ Work
    — Hand and Foot Massage Team, Highly commended, Team Volunteer of the Year Award. Nominated by The Canberra Hospital
    — Heather Karpinnen, Winner, Innovation in Volunteering Award. Nominated by Calvary John James Hospital
    — ANU Volunteers, Winner, New Volunteer Organisation. Nominated by Colin Taylor, Deputy Director, Alumni Relations and Philanthropy
