Action bus drivers will be wearing Hawaiian shirts to work tomorrow, Territory and Municipal Services has announced.

The bus drivers are supporting the Eden Monaro Cancer Support Group, who organised the Hawaiian Shirt day.

You can get involved by buying a badge from Westpac Banks or Capital Chemist shops for $4.

No-one should ever wear a Hawaiian shirt, unless of course, they are Hawaiian.

Or they are doing it for charity. Mine looks particularly hideous and it took me ages to find one theat was 100% polyester, because all good hawaiian shhirts should be polyester 🙂

That’s weird… I decided to wear an Hawaiian shirt today but I had no idea about this…

Would I be racist to voice my opinion that only Asians look good in a Hawaiian Shirt?

(well, it was invented by an Asian, from Kimono material, so it makes sense)

You’ve obviously never seen me in one.

The lack of calls of ‘photo’ is deafening…

Boy! The discussion of ACTION and apostrophes has been done on here before!

ACTION is an acronym = Australian Capital Territory Internal Omnibus Network.

Apostrophes are used for contraction or possession.

The Hawaiian shirt day belongs to ACTION, therefore ACTION’s Hawaiian shirt day.

Keep up the good work!

🙂
