Back in July last year we were horrified by ACTPLA’s failure to get all their conditions into the deed of agreement when selling off Section 63 in Civic.
The error meant that vastly more retail space than was wanted could have been built into the development.
ACTPLA have this day announced that, on the eve of going to court, the developer City West Property Holdings Pty Ltd has decided to accept the addendum retrospectively.
- Chief Planning Executive Neil Savery said the lessee’s agreement to rectify the deed meant that a potentially lengthy and expensive court process has been avoided.
“I am pleased the lessee, who has worked co-operatively with ACTPLA, has agreed to rectify the deed which has resulted in the matter being resolved,” Mr Savery said.
It’s not a great time to be opening up more retail space anyway?
