ACTPLA has the surprising news that they’ve actually knocked back non-complying development applications on the Kingston Foreshore!
Chief Planning Executive Neil Savery said the two development proposals on Trevillian Quay exceeded height regulations, did not comply with ground level frontage and did not provide any potential for active frontage on either the quay or lake sides.
“As the statutory decision-maker under the Planning and Development Act, ACTPLA has refused the development applications after making a detailed assessment of the proposals against the Territory Plan,” Mr Savery said.
Who knows what might flow from this new found strength of purpose!
