Adult debating in Canberra?

I’d love to start debating, but can’t seem to find any clubs for adults.

And I haven’t done it since year 7, so something for beginners is required.

Does anyone know a club in Canberra that could help?

Is that where all players stand in a circle furiously debating their “opinions” whilst never breaking eye contact?

Don’t forget the biscuit!

I think you best bet would be to join a political party of your chosen colour and take part when all the boobs start debating and Canberra’s grass cutting schedule.

If you want to improve your public speaking competency, check out Toastmasters .. there scattered around Canberra.

Also, Monty Python!

Boy o’ boy am I tired .. just look at those spelling errors. How should I kill myself?

I think these guys can help. Price might have changed a bit though.

Most clubs have what is known as a “table of knowledge” where you may fit in. It meets first around 11am , goes into recess around 2, then reforms around 5 and goes on as long as there are enough for a forum. Good luck
