Airport parking fees can be steep

A friend of mine works and parks at the Airport.

He keeps a parking card issued on September 6 2012 in his wallet.

Occasionally he puts it in the machine to see how much its racked up.

The ones at Westfield Woden go up to about $3500 and then have a computational seizure.

That’s how Wayne Swan thinks and look at the strife he has got us into.

That’s not actually as bad as I thought it’d be. It’s roughly 250 days since he took that ticket, so the daily rate’s a bit over $10 a day on average. If I did that where I park in the City, the bill would be up over $6,000 by now.

Gold. Wish I’d thought to do that when I’ve escaped a carpark with ticket intact. Reckon plenty will now.
