ACT Policing’s Criminal Investigations detectives from the Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Team, have arrested a 56 year-old Braddon man with a number of offences relating to sexual intercourse with young persons.
Police executed a search warrant at an address in Braddon on Thursday night (April 21) and seized a number of items. The man was arrested at the conclusion of the search warrant and taken to the ACT Regional Watch House.
The alleged offender was charged with sexual intercourse with a person under the age of 16, possessing child pornography and producing child pornography. Police will be opposing bail.
