A 17-year-old youth will face the ACT Childrens Court this morning (Thursday, November 3), after an extradition order was granted in the Wagga Wagga Childrens Court yesterday (November 2).

Police will allege the youth committed the aggravated robbery at the McDonalds Restaurant in Conder on September 27, 2010. During the aggravated robbery, the youth threatened staff with a weapon, stealing a sum of cash, before fleeing in a stolen vehicle.

Yesterday (November 2), NSW detectives arrested the youth in Wagga Wagga. Detectives from ACT Criminal Investigations successfully applied for the youth’s extradition to the ACT before the Wagga Wagga Childrens Court.

The youth was conveyed back to the ACT where he was remanded in custody overnight. He will face the ACT Childrens Court this morning.

He should, and probably will, receive a $50 fine and a stern finger-wagging.

People, on the other hand, who refer to throw-away food joints as “restaurants” should be ground up for next week’s hamburgers.

I think I can smell a McWanker…

A restaurant is an establishment which prepares and serves food and drink to customers in return for money. It may be a s*** restaurant, but it’s still a restaurant!

With a bit of luck he will have to spend 4-5 hours in the rear of a police car, because we know he won’t get any punishment from the judge. After a stern finger waggling he might even get a free bus ride back.

A bit torn about this. Live in Canberra but I’m from Wagga. Oh well, I guess one less clown in wagga. Only 4 – 5 suburbs full of them to go.

That’s A Bit Harsh!

But Fair
