The ABC informs us of the court appearance of Carl Leu, 23, charged with recklessly inflicting grievous bodily harm.

It is alleged that last August Carl had a novel approach to seeking an apology from his (now former) friend Owen Sutinen for a perceived slight.

Having been on the booze together in Kaleen’s Wests Tavern for five hours the court heard Leu followed Sutinen into the carpark with a schooner glass and allegedly whacked him with it twice before punching him leaving facial scarring.

It must have been an interesting five hours.

He was found not guilty of reckless GBH but guilty of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. Recklessness was not proven beyond reasonable doubt.

Why did she stab you?

Probably not!!! You say it’s been going since August, 4mths of our tax dollars hard at work HA! With probably at least another 6mths or so before it goes to trial.
Like I cannot believe that they gave the girl who stabbed me in the chest bail, (a week after the stabbing, if she had of gone another mm more the Dr said, & would not be here to tell) & she only lives 150 meters up the street from me (if that). Ha Ha she has to stay 100 meters away from me & my new Partner, but they both go to the same chemist? (Work that out?)
The whole court system needs looking into. Why you can do more time for defrauding social security than if you do grievous bodily harm to someone or commit a serious crime.

From a still recovering (slowly) Really annoyed, angry, victim of crime

I do.

Now who wants an apology?

I wonder if the Courts will do us, the community, proud…..
