After our expose of the alpaca on Ainslie Avenue a number of people accused us of photoshopping the scene. (Oddly enough we got accused of that with our other view of the bizarre on Ainslie Avenue too).

CbrGal has kindly sent in another view of the alpaca sitting in its Mazda 121. This time on 19 January in Fyshwick.

So there you all go.

(Just what the Alpaca and CbrGal were doing in Fyshwick together we leave as an exercise for the reader)

UPDATED: Growling Ferret also spied the alpaca in November next to the Rex on Northbourne

I think the RSPCA should get involved before this silly fad takes off. Animals shouldn’t be used as attention-seeking devices for their owners! That’s what we have children for!

haha, yeah thats what i thought when i read it, now why cant the world be full of mooning alpaca’s? 😀 lol.

Great link toriness – mooning alpaca – hehehehe.

Does this hairy goat wear the seatbelt? I was fined because my grandfather would not wear a seatbelt in the back of our car, I see no difference with this alpaca thing.

The was mention of the alpaca’s owners on the back page of last Saturday’s CT. I don’t recall the details but they are apparently well known around town.

Yep I saw it to in Ainslie avenue near city plaza a few weeks ago.

Didn’t have a camera with me, but spotted the car & alapcas at Gwydir Square shops in Kaleen on Australia Day, the alapcas had Aussie flags tied over their backs (Big Day Out fans maybe?).

is the alpaca knitted into the seat covers ??

Come out to Fyshwick and you can go 1 to 1 with a beautiful young alpaca?

this has just been brought to my attention. seems the phenomena has been around for a while!

Oh, now I get it – it’s an alpaca. I thought we were just laughing at an ugly chick from charnwood (based on the alpaca’s haircut).

I’ve yet to see the alpaca for myself, but these pics are pretty funny!

The Alpaca looks quite comfortable there.
