Independent Candidate for Molonglo Philip Pocock is the winner of the September 2012 Mully Cup!

Philip won the award for his relentless promotion of his views that all aspects of sexual activity should be regulated by Government, and a government that doesn’t like women or homosexuals at that.

On another note; yesterday I came across a bit of illegal postering by Philip along Lonsdale Street in Braddon which the locals do not appear to appreciate:

philip pocock

(The Mully Cup is awarded monthly to the entity stimulating the most comment on this website. It is named in memory (if not in honour) of Justin Mully Williams who both improved our world, and set the record for comments, in his departure)

There’s an article in today’s CT about God chatting to Pocock and informing him that he will be PM some day. God has done some sh1tty things, but I don’t think even he would stoop that low.

I’d pay good money to see the look on Pocock’s face if his God was a she not a he.

I’ve been involved in the mental health area, both studying it and as a client and Pocock’s behaviour – either thinking you are Jesus Christ or hearing voices (supposedly from God) telling you to do things or that you will hold a position of power is classic delusional and psychotic behaviour associated with schizophrenia.

Are people willing to vote for someone who is mentally ill and exhibiting such irrational thoughts and behaviour?.

That’s all well and good if one has had a Christian upbringing.
If one is a disciple of another religion, whose voice do they hear?
Does a Hinduist for example feel the desire to listen to Ronald McDonald and go to Maccas.
Do atheists hear the voice of God?

Read the following sentence in pink:
“Atheists hear the voice of god every day, in all the things they love…including science.”*

*My new part-time job is writing for Hallmark in the USA. It may evolve into a full time job, if I don’t use words like ‘evolve’, and everything passes the cheap emotion test. Damn, I spelt God with a small ‘g’. I’m out*

*This is all a lie.

But is interesting to look back to Jeanne d’Arc and the voice that told her to drive the English from France. Who are we to apply modern interpretations of mental illness to a society that believed in these things?

Seriously though, god doesn’t have a gender, a colour, or even a beard. IMHO. And the idea that a Christian would hold hard to divisions based on race or gender or sexual preference is pretty horrible. I’m thinking Peter Jensen on the gender/sexual preference bit, not just Philip Pocock.

I like the idea of a heaven having golden arches like the Scottish restaurant. Do you want wings with that?

Well if you removed people from the ballot based on this statement there wouldn’t be anyone left to vote for.

So, if you were convicted of something based on the “expert” testimony of Pocock, who has now outed himself as being a raving nutter, would you have grounds for appeal…?

Bonus points if God was a homosexual, a fabulous one.

Imagine Mully Cup winners as an awesome political party with Alan Jones as senior advisor & publicity manager?
Scariest thing about Pocock is he has been used as an “expert” witness in court cases.

Didn’t think it possible but this has gotten a whole lot more disturbing, from Noel Towell:

‘Mr Pocock has written to The Canberra Times, saying that God has assured him he will be prime minister one day and that the population was being ridiculed on gay issues by a self deluded media and academia.’

I am in favour of freedom of speech, not matter how vile the views are. Earlier, I was personally unsure of the condition of this fella’s mental health. Now I am quite concerned.

He is of course referring to his upcoming Prime Ministership of Northbourne Flats…. residents are incapable of noticing though.

I’m beginning to think that Pocock as Chief Minister could be worth it for the entertainment value.

Poocock for PM with Jones as deputy. It surely couldn’t get any better than that?

Commiserations to poetix however the award could not go to a more deserving wanker!

I’m sure Genesis 38:9 covers that pretty well…

He’s not Onan up to that.

Well let’s hope that the Po-Cock is spilling his seed coz the thought of that Judah producing offspring would be too much to bear!

Was Phil Collins in the band by the time they put out that album?

abbysinians 42:69
yea, and did the poet[ix] come among them and in rhyming couplets and blank verse by turns pronounce the word of the one true bogan, mully. ah, men!

‘Look at the scoreboard!’

Saul’s text message to the Fellatians, 36:68

You spelt Philip O’Cock wrong. What is interesting is how many votes he will get. No matter how awful, pathetic or laughable a candidate is, someone votes for them.

I’m more curious why he thinks the photo of him looking like the unabomber is going to work in his favour?

A truly deserving winner.

Gavest thou the goodly hubcap unto the pocock? or wings and feathers unto the ostrich?

Don’t worry. With a bit of luck and a bit of subtle astroturfing, there’s still space for your name 🙂

A truly deserving winner.
