Facebook has word of a new protest outside the Japanese Embassy:
Protest rally against inhumane treatment/capture and killing of the dolphins and whales in Taiji
We are 2 Melbourne mums who have been on Twitter, Facebook following Sea Shepherd and Cove Guardians on the Taiji dolphin/whales hunt.
Seeing all the photos and videos being posted on both Twitter and Facebook has upset and enraged us into action. We cannot sit idly by and let this barbaric treatment of the whales and dolphins continue, without voicing our objections to it.
This event is to protest the annual Taiji dolphin cull as seen in the Academy-award winning documentary The Cove. The message is positive: Japan, let the dolphins live & be free!
We will meet outside the Japanese Embassy at 11am [Saturday 24 November].
We invite one and all to come and join us, those in Australia and overseas visitors who are in our country at this time.
Lets make our voices be heard and mark this the day that will encourage all media to Taiji to report live exactly what is happening at The Cove!

If you have any inflatable dolphins or whales, you are more than welcome to bring them along. You can also make your own banners, but I do suggest nothing graphic as there could be young children present. Thank you
