Any suggested oral surgeon for mucocele?

I know that I can gargle salt water and hopefully it will pop out by itself, but worst-case scenario, can anybody suggest an affordable and trust-worthy oral surgeon who can remove this?

It’s the second time it happened to me, but I got the first one removed overseas and I am not going anywhere until next year.

Any help is appreciated.

PS: I also don’t think this is covered by insurance. it’s no issue since I also don’t have one yet.

I agree with #1 & #2. I had a growth removed from right at the back of my mouth by Dr Michael Cooper, who works with Peter Vickers. The surgery I attended was in Braddon http://www.soms.com.au/page/meet_our_doctors1.html

I was VERY impressed at his skill. (I was a nurse before I had a career change and have seen quite a few ops in my time).

Dr Carmello Bonano in Woden – he is reasonably priced also 🙂 – good luck hope you feel better

In the meantime dice up a garlic clove and rub it over the cyst and into it as much as possible. Next, consume a raw garlic clove daily (in yoghurt, a sandwich or liquid) and it will expel the infectious material. To reduce the swelling, I recommend natural yoghurt and the saltwater you are using.

The orthodontists at both Manuka and Tuggeranong are excellent.

I agree with Martlark. Dr Vickers took my wisdom teeth out during day surgery & he was fantastic.

In barton is Dr Peter vickers, he is excellent.
