Anyone need a drummer?

Hey, I’m looking for a band. I’ve just moved to Canberra and feel like playing some music.

I like music such as Gillian Welch, Wilco, The National, Fleet Foxes, Bruce Springsteen, Beatles, Iron & Wine, Tallest Man on Earth, Sun kil Moon….and other bands of that ilk.

However…. I’m keen to play pretty much anything good, be it country, folk, indie rock, noise, I’m pretty easy.

Hi there,

To both Thisispants and Akky190, I’d be keen for some jamming some time. I primarily play (Guitar) alone these days but OH how I would LOVE to get something bigger started! I live down south but have transport, happy to drive anywhere in Canberra for music!

A little bout me, I’m in my early 30s, am self taught over the last 20+ years. I don’t really play covers anymore, preferring to spend most of my time noodling with blues/jazz but even trying to find ppl to jam/colaborate with has been difficult (even with allclassifieds). Would love to hear from both/either of you if you’d be keen to jam so long as the genre I’m playing fits in with you!
