Anyone wanna cheap tip truck and excavator?

This in from ACT Policing:

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to the theft of a truck and excavator from Fyshwick on Tuesday night (December 14).

Sometime between 4pm Tuesday December 14 and 6.30am Wednesday December 15, persons have gained entry to a building site on the corner of Gladstone Street and Newcastle Street in Fyshwick.

A tip-truck and excavator were stolen from the site.

The truck is a white Mitsubishi freight carrying tipper with NSW Registration YGK597. The truck has ‘TOP COM’ stickers on the doors and a broken passenger side indicator. The estimated value of the truck is $65,000.

The excavator is a 5 ½ tonne IHI brand; green in colour with the right side window broken. It is valued at $60,000.

Anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area around the time of the offence or who may be able to assist police with the investigation are asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
