In the 1960s on ANZAC Day veterans would march from the Narrabundah Shops to the Kingston Narrabundah RSL on Kootara Cresc.

When the club folded in 1984 and taken over by the Australian Hungarian Club the Kokoda Statue was moved to the Canberra Services Club in Manuka.

In 2003, with development imminent, the Lest We Forget stone was moved to the Tennis Courts & Garden Centre by Old Narrabundah Community Council.
