Between 28 November 2013 and 12 December 2013 we hosted on our website material posted by one of our registered users in respect to Mr David Richards and his Christmas Lights Display at his residence in Red Hill in the Australian Capital Territory. That material was defamatory of Mr Richards and entirely untrue. It had no basis in fact. We regret that there has been any suggestion that any funds raised by Mr Richards were not used appropriately. We apologise unreservedly to Mr Richards.
The material was removed from our website once its defamatory nature was brought to our attention. We have no reason to believe that Mr Richards, a practicing barrister, is other than an entirely honest and honourable member of the legal profession.
