App guide to Canberra City Art

Barcham 1 October 2013 1

Creative Partnerships Australia, have released an app called CITYART to help you find and enjoy the many art installations around Canberra.

If that’s your kind of thing, then head over to the site for info and a link to download the app from iTunes.

If you’re an android user then you’re out of luck as the app is only available for iOS devices, so you’ll have to find some other way to locate things…

I hear Google is pretty useful for stuff like that.

Providing a self guided tour of Canberra’s public and privately owned art installations.

The CITYART app is designed to provide individuals with an insight into the amazing public art that Canberra has to offer!

Developed in partnership between CRE8IVE and ACTEW Water and an initiative of Creative Partnerships Australia, the CITYART app is the must have guide for visitors and the people of Canberra who are looking to learn more about the public art installations that make up this city.

The public art within the App will be continuously evolving.

Information within the app includes:
— Directions and mapping interface
— An overview of the installation
— Links to any online references
— Videos and photos of the art
(where applicable)
