I went down to the freshly revamped Casuarina Sands for a swim and bbq on Saturday, but could not find a bbq anywhere. There is a new wooden deck, and some toilets, even nice new turf.
This Canberra Times article suggests there are bbqs somewhere down there. Maybe they are not near the swimming area.
