Ask RiotACT

Hi Rioters,

Idle trivia for you: what is the shortest distance somebody can walk in Canberra and be in 5 different suburbs? Is it a walk around the 4 suburb intersection at Northbourne & Macarthur (Lyneham, Turner, Braddon, Dickson) followed by a walk to Ainslie?

Keen to hear your thoughts..

All the suburbs the tram goes to. Its mostly standing room only.

Standing room is what trams are all about.

You could stand still in Kambah and be in a Suburb that is five times the size of many canberra suburbs. But that’s not really what you are looking for.

The corner of David St and Macarthur Ave will give you five suburbs in a 100m Walk.

Curtin, Lyons, Chifley, Pearce, Torrens, Farrer, Isaacs.

Acton, City, Turner, Braddon, O’Connor, Lyneham, Dickson, Downer, Reid, Ainslie
