Headed down the coast on the weekend and noticed LPG prices there around the low to mid 70 cents per litre. Thought how lucky we are in Canberra to have it consistently around 60-64c per litre. Took the 4WD in to Coles Express at Belconnen to fill it up today with LPG, imagine my horror when I found it was 79.9c per litre. Can someone tell me what the possible justification could be for LPG to go up 15-18 cents a litre in a couple of days? I opted not to fill up at this time because I wanted to see if it was the same everywhere. Any others found the same prices around Canberra?
