Ask RiotACT

Good guys Cleveland Indians qualify for the World Series!

OK… Trying to stay calm… what Canberra venues will be showing the World Series?

So why am I so interested? A few years back the Make A Wish Foundation granted my daughter a trip to Ohio’s Cedar Point Amusement park and part of the package included watching the Cleveland Indians play at Progressive Field. It was a great day and a highlight of the trip as they really looked after us. Been a big fan ever since.

it’s on at The Dock as we speak…

Um, forget my ignorance but what sport are we talking about here? Is it soccer, gridiron, basketball or farnarkeling? Please explain.

The only “world series” I am aware of is the baseball competition played exclusively in the USA.

Maybe the incoming Trump administration can open the current competition to Cuba and Japan.

It would be good foreign policy.

Hale + Mary will be showing it for sure.

Also try The Dock if you prefer water views.

Dickson Tradies Club screens all sports that broadcast on Foxtel or free-to-air.

Just ask a friendly staff member to switch to the World Series or whichever game you want to watch.

Most sports clubs (pokie clubs) will have access to the sports channels. But try Hale + Mary in Kingston, they have a large amount of TVs in the bar which have a good range of sports on.
