Hi All.

I was hoping the RiotACT brains trust could help in identifying what type of tree this is?

It is a deciduous tree, and has a white blossom. There are a heap of these trees in Napier Close in Deakin.

Thanks,

Jess

I don’t think there are any in Tuggers but we don’t have a tram either.

According to the street tree index at http://www.actbeekeepers.asn.au/pdfs/ACT-STREET-TREES-1.pdf it is Robinia pseudoacacia, with the common name as gbass suggested. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robinia_pseudoacacia

Catalpa bignonioides or Indian Bean Tree.

Little hard to tell from the picture, but maybe a Black Locust – False acacia?
