Auditor-General gives a tick to grant management.

By johnboy - 20 December 2013 0

The Auditor-General has announced a pretty clean bill of health in the Performance Audit Report – Management of Funding for Community Services:

There was, however, some concern about Economic Development:

Dr Cooper said, ‘the Economic Development Directorate needs to ensure compliance with procurement regulations to support open and effective competition in tendering. The Directorate also needs to explicitly consider, and manage, the conflict of interest arising from the Director-General’s role as the key decision maker over Tourism and his membership of the Canberra Convention Bureau’s board of management.’
