Was the Ducati Desmosedici RR there? After years of missing it I was finally around when it took off down KET a year or so back. It sounded diabolical; the scream of a superbike backed by a deep guttural roar bouncing off the buildings.

Yeah I think it was. The owner started it up for a bit and gave it a couple of wristfuls. Sounded pretty good.

You’re right about that. Ducs do sound good.

I didn’t pay too much attention to the bikes, and am not that well versed in them anyway. Interestingly, they should be able to join Lamborghini in the Audi section next week, haha.

Anyway, one of the best automotive sounds I’ve ever heard was a few years back now from a 355 Challenge with tubi exhaust ripping it through the tunnel on Parkes Way in Acton. Perfection!
