I have a cockatiel with funny-coloured poo. This is more serious than it sounds to non-bird owners.
I would like to take him to the vet, but the only avian (bird) vet in Canberra (that I know of) is away on holiday.
Besides the absent Dr Sandy Hume of Inner South Veterinary Hospital, does anyone know of a vet that is good with birds? Good enough to be able to comprehend a small bird’s intestinal tracts.
I won’t take him to just any vet, as experience has led me to believe that they have a tendency to be pretty useless with everything except dogs, cats and horses.
