Two new 10 month old baby cubs have arrives at the National Zoo and Aquarium, reports ABC News. The Zoo has received these animals as a part of an international breeding program.

Ms Scott says the Zoo plans to bring in two male cubs later this year and it is hoped the cheetahs will eventually breed.

“Cheetahs in the wild are classified as vulnerable on the threatened species list so it’s very important for us to be part of the breeding program,” she said.
