Bagels, get your bagels

The bagels are ok but nothing overly special – I started making my own as a result, they’re remarkably easy to produce if you can set aside a little bit of time for the process. Quick bit of google-fu will bring up recipes.

I bought a whole heap (150 actually), of macarons from a well known trader at the farmers market a while back. I can tell you that dealing with them was not exactly a thrilling experience – like I was being done a favour. I have also emailed one of the traders at the farmers market hoping to find out if they will be selling a particular item so I know whether to turn up early on a Saturday – no response.

They are doing you a favour.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but if you don’t like the way you’re treated, you’ve got every right to go somewhere else.

Funny. Have only started going there recently and couldn’t work out the massive queue and incredibly slow pace of the sellers.

Yep, in a first world country. If I was in a third world country, I wouldn’t be batting my pretty little eyelids about it.

Solution – refuse to shop with these providers and also have a whinge on RA.

And bring enough bagels. I swear you only get half an hour at the Woden CIT market before they sell out.
