I’d like to share some photos and video I took of Canberra on a balloon flight the week before the Balloon festival. It was a beautiful, clear canberra morning (unlike most of the mornings for the festival?!). We lifted off from Kingston and floated over the Old Bus Depot Markets, over Barton, just past the south of Parliament House, over Yarralumla across Lake Burley Griffin and landed in a paddock just past Black Mountain.
The first video features everything upto Parliament house (Kingston – Old Bus Depot Markets, Barton – New PM&C Building, etc). The second video features yarralumla, the lake, one of the peninsulas (NFI what its called). The videos are in HD, so make sure you maximise them to full screen 🙂 I like the second video more, but ill let you be the judge!
