Probably a bit late for most of your morning commutes, but here’s some info for those of you who use Barry Drive:
The ACT Government wishes to advise motorists and other road users that the Belconnen bound lanes of Barry Drive will be closed between Northbourne Avenue and Marcus Clarke Street from 9.30 am today for at least three hours (weather permitting).
This is to allow for the repair of the road’s asphalt following a burst water main yesterday afternoon.
Motorists are cautioned to take care when driving on the affected part of Barry Drive.
Barriers as well as warning and diversion signs will be erected to alert people of the closure.
