Bashing in the Charnwood Shops carpark

By johnboy - 29 August 2011 11

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an alleged assault last Thursday afternoon (August 25) which left a 48-year-old Flynn man with injuries.

It is alleged that about 6.20pm (Thursday, August 25) the man approached a group of five teenagers in the car park of Charnwood Shops after he allegedly saw one of the teenagers damage his vehicle.

The victim engaged in a verbal exchange with the teenagers and as he turned to leave, he was struck, knocking him unconscious. The group of teenagers then left the area.

As a result of the assault the victim suffered a number of injuries for which he is receiving treatment.

Police would urge anyone who may have witnessed the alleged assault on Thursday afternoon to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information to Crime Stoppers can be provided anonymously.

Rule 1: Never engage in conversation with these filth, first thing you should do (when you have seen them commit the act) is when they open their mouth to say “What are you lookin at ya carrn…” is punch them fair in the mouth!

Never engage in an argument with them, always start with your best punch. Talk comes afterwards.

The Captain is correct in this.

I concur.

What? they couldn’t have waited until late Friday night when most of the random violence/thuggish behaviour/damage to vehicles occurs? Impatient little buggers…

But it wasn’t random, the “victim” came looking for a barney and he got it. Even if he did see them damage his vehicle, he was clearly out numbered. That’s why we have mobile phones, he should have called the cops. Granted the youth would have been long gone by the time the cops showed up but at least he would have been uninjured.

Cool. Let’s play blame the victim. It was clearly his fault that he dared interrupt people vandalising his car.

Pretty sure he wouldn’t have wanted the treatment doled out to him, more than likely wanted to scare them off with his approach…Just didn’t work out this time.

Only reason McDonalds doesn’t have cameras in their car parks is cos they don’t wanna know what happens in em. Imagine identifying all those pickle chuckers 🙂

I think the lesson of this particular incident is just don’t eat at McDonalds.. its crap food and you’ve got a higher chance of meeting an idiot.
