ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an alleged assault last Thursday afternoon (August 25) which left a 48-year-old Flynn man with injuries.
It is alleged that about 6.20pm (Thursday, August 25) the man approached a group of five teenagers in the car park of Charnwood Shops after he allegedly saw one of the teenagers damage his vehicle.
The victim engaged in a verbal exchange with the teenagers and as he turned to leave, he was struck, knocking him unconscious. The group of teenagers then left the area.
As a result of the assault the victim suffered a number of injuries for which he is receiving treatment.
Police would urge anyone who may have witnessed the alleged assault on Thursday afternoon to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information to Crime Stoppers can be provided anonymously.
