Be careful on the Federal Highway

The ACT Government wishes to advise motorists to drive with caution if travelling along the Federal Highway, between Bywong and Collector, due to rain and ice on the road.

Thanks for the warning, the rain and cold temperature was not a clue. What would we do without these updates 🙂

Source? I hear this comment by the locals in every city I’ve lived in. Some sort of self-poppy syndrome I think.

If people spent more effort on actually controlling their vehicle rather than worrying about speeding, things like this would be far less an issue.

I was travelling along the Federal Highway yesterday afternoon and yes it was quite slippery. Not so slippery that a knucklehead had to literally stop on the inside lane just north of the Eagle Hawk servo though.

Honestly, NSW drivers!
