The latest Liberal Party junk mail campaign has taken a curious step.
Earlier this week, I found a letter from the libs in the post.
In addition to the usual vacuous and worn out lines, I was surprised to see Zed make a desperate outright request for donations.
This went as far as including a small form, with an option to volunteer for letterbox drops. There was a certain irony to their complaints about increasing costs and asking for donations.
Has anyone else seen this sort of thing in Canberra before? This is the first time I’ve seen this sort of request, which is reminiscent of crazy televangelists & other cheap sales tactics.
