Belconnen.org.au warns that the Belconnen Community Festival returns to Margaret Timpson Park (across the road from the Mall) on 13 November:
2010’s festival theme, “Circo Belco and the Future Footprints Sideshow” emerged from community feedback collected at the 2008 festival, from long-term participants and other stake holders; as well from the enthusiastic festival team here BCS. Organisers envisage a carnival environment incorporating aspects of circus, vaudeville, physical theatre and burlesque.
My thoughts on the 2008 event are available, but I have to say that the lineup for this year is looking pretty exciting from what I hear. This was in my mailbox:

There will be three stages of entertainment plus the Insane Champion Wrestling ring, “The Bally”- a boutique circus tent and a plethora of stalls, sideshows and activities. A packed performance program includes Warehouse Circus, Milo the Clown, Drum Assault, Rubicon, Beth n’ Ben, Rafe Morris, Kulture Break, Astrochem, The Great Zamboni and more.
