Police are calling for witnesses to come forward after an alleged road rage incident in Belconnen two weeks ago.

On 7 January around 4:45 pm, a white Honda Jazz was travelling northbound on William Hovell Drive towards Belconnen in the right hand overtaking lane. A car described as a “dirty, light coloured, four-door sedan” travelling behind the Jazz allegedly moved onto the incorrect side of the road and deliberately sideswiped the Honda Jazz.

The vehicle was last seen heading towards Belconnen along William Hovell Drive.

Police are urging the driver of the sedan to speak with them about the alleged incident. Police are also urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or have dash cam footage to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
