Best place for Sunday night roast?

Totally agree. I’ve never had a good roast from a club or pub. Not sure why they can’t do it well, maybe it’s the sitting under lights in the bain marie, or the gravox gravy, but roasts at these places are bloody awful.

Roasts are definitely home-only food.

Eff club roasts. ( I know it does not help on a weekend, but got ham, yum yum tree does the best bought roast in town).

Serious, do your own. If its only for two, then get a smaller cut. Or do as I do and cook a huge one and have sandwich all week.

Seriously, you cannot mess it up in the oven. Practice and move up to slow cooked meats on a weber type bbq. This, is called winning

If you can bare the pokies, old people blocking you at every turn and constant reminders of the raffle, the footy clubs are a pretty good, cheap place to get a decent roast. I like the golf club at Gungahlin, but Ainslie is ok as well.

Hellenic club at Woden is pretty good too.

Although if you’re looking at footy clubs, you’ve picked a bad night with the Raiders on tonight.
