Anyone have details on the Big fat Greek wedding that took place at the Kingston Bus Market Saturday night? Any photos available?

I assume the wedding was across the road. The reception for 370 guests was held at the old bus depot. Finished at 2:00 am and the depot was transformed for the markets on Sunday which is about as much as I know.

Congratulations to the newly weds and best wishes for the future.

awww I want to see photos!!! sounds fantastic… tell more!!

FQ, RiotAct is a popular-ish website, so come on name the pair.
Nobody who has a wedding that big in a city as small as Canberra should remain anonymous, and if there were 370 guests, you’re one of the gossiping crowd of attendees anyway.

Using Sydney staff is poor form, though.
Citizens demand names!

I attended the wedding on Saturday night to celebrate my two friends getting married. The theme was Maroccan style and inside the depot markets was like you were walking into a large purple tent, with mirrors, turkish/morrocan style chandelier lighting and pillows and those turkish smoking pipes. The food was equally as good with spicy prawns and lamb and loads of cous cous! If you were lucky enough to be walking by the pre-dinner drinks at the Glass house you would have noticed the two camels and waiters wearing fez hats! It really was a fantastic wedding and reception. The only issue I had was that the staff were mostly from Sydney.

Good on them for coming up with a venue other than a club for that many guests. Hope everyone had a good time.

i went to a greek-croatian wedding a few years back, it had a similar number of guests – enough to book out the entire top floor of the ainslie football club. reception had an open bar for about 6 hours – awesome night!!
