Big Gig at In Blue 15-JUL-05 to launch 2XX program.

By johnboy - 14 July 2005 6

I’ll confess to being a little suprised not to have heard about this from other sources (some of the bands, the 2XX mailing list) and frankly I’m not sure what I should be reading into that silence.

In any event 2XX is launching a new local music show “In The Can” at In Blue tommorrow night. Justbands have some confused details

ONE NIGHT JAM
THE CASHEWS
THE HENCHMEN
LUCID MINDS and
DAHAHOO

There’ll be those friggin fire twirlers there too if that’s your thing

Rumour has it the now legendary Hancock Basement will be playing too.

What’s Your opinion?

Their name is ledgendary – seeing as everyone shortens their name to ‘the cock’ there is so much fun to have with it. Give it a go it’s a hoot. Play around with it at home by yourself. See what I mean.

Thanks for that JB. I posted that misinformation at work yesterday. Later in a staff meeting, I was having a sip of carefully concealed gin from my coffee cup when I realised that it was wasn’t Friday. Then I drank a little more gin before asking Mal to get rid of the post before I got in trouble for spreading well intended misinformation (kind of like socialists). I may wear a disguise when I go tonight.
