Simon Corbell has announced that with Bill Stefaniak out of work, until his new role as Appeal President of the new ACT Civil and Administrative Tribunal kicks off in January, he’ll get to play as a special magistrate.

Ken Cush is also getting the nod and there’s no signs that he had to do the nasty on his colleagues to get the role.

UPDATED: The Canberra Times brings word of murmurings in the ranks of the legal community.

Simon says it doesn’t matter because it’s a short-term gig. Tough luck for those who get justice dispensed from someone who wouldn’t have passed the full-time process?

Bloody brilliant. This is how Stanhope plans to fill the prison quickly after its opening. :o)

Bill will quickly fill the prison to capacity and then Stanhope will be able to say “oh look its full, see we didn’t over cater after all.”
