WOW, a media release at last. A bit late I would say.
I agree with housebound. In typical style the Government only respond after it has been noted here on the Riot Act. I’ve known for some time that the Riot Act is the place to find out what’s happening around this place.
Administration of Urban Trees…. hasn’t that meant, in recent times, trying to get rid of as many of them as possible before the locals put a stop to it?
No. I think it is disorganisation. It has happened before.
It is a position with statutory independence, so you would have to be careful with your choice of commissioner. Can a public servant be genuinely independent?
Wow – a long term appointment. Does this mean the seat is being kept warm for somebody else ?
I wonder who.
