Bob's back. [McMullan visibility increase]

After months and months of ‘silence’ I see the invisible man Bob McMullan is back ‘working’ his electorate.

Not only did he have an article in the Canberra Times this week – this morning he even got up early and had a spray on 2CC.

There’s nothing like a pre-selection battle to wake a pollie out of their deep slumber!

NB…doesn’t anyone else find it rather absurd that both Bob and the ALP will not publicly name his challenger? Does anyone have any inside mail?

Kimba, Bob’s challenger for preselection (if he/she/them do challenge) has not been announced because call for nominations for preselection has not happened. As for Cooney, it’s hard seeing him do it when I don’t think he’d have the numbers. As for Jim Jones, he has stated his intention to run (if he does or not is yet to be seen).

Bob McMullan lost my vote the day I stood next to him at a function and expressed some concerns. Bob closed off and saw someone he had to go and talk to. Makes no difference to him as he is in a safe seat and losing one disaffected Labor voter is of no consequence.

you’re probably right thumper, i suppose my individual inconsequential protest of minus one vote for bob makes me feel better on principle?

bob has not followed through on any of his statements/promises made to me in replies he sent to letters i wrote to him. he does not get my vote if he stands in the next election. he is all talk no action. ditto for most of the other ALP members. or so is the opinion of this disillusioned labor voter.

It’s Jim Jones apparently.

Just so you know, that”LG” isn’t me.

Maybe its Stanhope?

Crikey yesterday were speculating on Michael Cooney IIRC.
