Bogans alive and well.......

Thanks to the bogan losers, Darwin award nominees who completely destroyed my bins this morning at 4am leaving a trail or garbage and glass strewn accross the footpaths, road and gardens.

I am still cleaning it up hours later. Your parents must be so proud to have raised such fine citizens with such outstanding mega brains.

I’m sure Mensa will be writing, asking you to join them soon.

Hope you had a good laugh as you did it as one can only hope that karma is very good to you.

Soo… He had his basic human rights violated, “Everyone has the right to feel safe in society.” That had property damaged – yes, the bin does belong to cleanaway, but they are the ones who have to clean up the mess of these scrotums.

You’re creating quite a good list of what you don’t think are victims;

Big business deserve to be robbed, according to you, people who leave their bins out deserve to have to clean up there stuff for planning ahead, but the people who do the robbing are the real victims, the kids who destroy the bins need more help then the person who had his bin destroyed, you’re a ditz violet, a real ditz.

Jeez…….if you feel so strongly about this incident and just have to have someone to blame, then set up your own “Bin knocker overer” task force to support the human rights of the “Bin Putter Outerers”.
You can perch up amongst the trees in your street and drop down upon unsuspecting “BKO’s” before they claim their next “victims”. And, before you get too excited, I didn’t say anyone deserved anything. Just made a suggestion on perhaps how to avoid “BKO’s” in the future.

Also, do you have something against scrotums? I think you blame scrotums for everything. Scrotum hater 😛

No worries……y’all keep putting your bins out the night before like “normal” people. Next time, I see bins knocked over in our street, I’ll remind myself “them’s da houses of da”normal” people” while I drive off to work without having to scrape crap up off the road lol (Being abnormal has it’s perks…. yeah yeah!)

Yes because it’s unusual for people to expect their bins to be left alone after being put out on the street. It must only be in your street where to knock over bins is done for sh!ts and giggles.

Happens in my street all the time. Not only knocking them over, but also setting them on fire. I prefer the use of d*ckhead for these people rather than bogan. many bogans have redeeming qualities.

You can’t blame their parents, Violet will get upset and point out that is must be society’s fault that little scrotums like this cant keep their hands to themselves.

No, I don’t think this crap is worth getting upset over (censorship should be consistent if you’re going to use it). Blame whoever you like, God, Darwin, parents, the Paddle Pop Lion….. but if you put your bins out on the collection day (rather than the night before), especially around New Years, you won’t be picking up crap on your holiday and won’t have anything to whinge about. Simple.

Gotcha… it’s victim’s fault for leaving her bin out too long and for caring that someone trashed her front yard with its contents.

I’m with you, Violet. It’s not the offender’s fault, it’s the victim.

I would hardly call this person a “victim”.

Does this mean I can claim a bogan cultural connection, while not actually being a bogan or coming from a significantly boganesque family?

I believe this behaviour is better defined as “feral”, a well known, if little acknowledged, subclass of the bogan.

Why are they Darwin Award nominees? Did they remove themselves from the gene pool while destroying your bins, or do you not understand the concept of the Darwin Awards?

It could be along the lines of “If I ever get my hands on them” but that’s charitable. I tend to agree that the OP doesn’t understand the concept.

I do that sometimes. Difference is I’m normally dressed in a hastily pulled on pair of shorts and thongs, hoping like hell i make it before the truck does!

Well, doing the run down the driveway on a frosty morning isn’t really the same.

😉

You put your bin out in the morning? What a weirdo.

I moved back into Canberra in 2000 after living in nearby rural subdivisions for 15 years. A few weeks after we moved into our new place I put the wheelie bin out one night and a few hours later woke to discover a volcano happening in the front yard. Some arsehat had tipped a tin of accelerant into the bin and ignited it.

There were flaming embers flying everywhere from the burning garbage before I grabbed the extinguisher from the car and put it out. This airborne crap could’ve easily got into the eaves of my house or the neighbours, set the house ablaze and killed us all in our sleep. I had two toddlers and a pregnant wife at the time, and if I’d caught the perps in the act I would’ve beaten them to death. I’ve never known such anger.

Since then I’ve been one of the morning crew, trundling the bins out in my slippers and robe. I don’t think there’s anything at all weird about it.

Never trust anyone in a safari suit.

I don’t blame their parents, I blame them and yes I believe they were bogans. ‘ “Bogan” started life as a descriptor for persons who behaved antisocially – doing burn-outs, yelling at their kids to “shut up, ya little softc**k”, etc.’ I believe that the poor little pets fit this description and I would think that driving down a street full of bins and knocking half of them over and then driving up the road doing burnouts while causing more destrcution would fit the bill to a T.
Yes I do understand the Darwin awards concept and while I assume the little pets didn’t kill themselves in the process this time, I believe that they may well remove themselves from the gene pool at some stage if they keep this sort of beahviour up.
We choose to put our bins out the night before, as does most of our street. Some of us have a life.
Apologies to those who find the concept that we are P’d off to say the least a tad confronting in this nanny state, but we have been up since 4am fixing something that some idiots decided was ‘good fun’.
Hope it wasn’t your car they stole to have this fun in…..

Or Violet, they could just leave the bins along like most normal people…..

They made a choice, which impacted on others, because they “can” as we have no real ‘punishment’ for idiots here in Canberra, regardless of the anti-social behaviour.

This post is confirmation of the overuse of the word bogan. It seems that every time someone does something someone doesn’t like, RA readers use the word. Perhaps a New Year resolution should be to limit use of the word to people who truly deserve it.

Amen to that.

“Bogan” started life as a descriptor for persons who behaved antisocially – doing burn-outs, yelling at their kids to “shut up, ya little softc**k”, etc. Now it gets applied to people’s lifestyle choices as well – people get called bogan not because of how they behave, but because of their choice of car, choice of suburb, choice of sporting interests, choice of music, and so on.

I am fine with it being used with reference to behaviour – as in the OP – but think its use in the other context is too judgmental.

Rightyo, not in fact society’s fault, the OP’s fault for wanting to sleep in anot have to worry about missing the garbage truck at 7 in the morning, SHAME on them!

How did they do it? Were your bins at the kerb for collection and they drove into them? If so, have you thought about putting your new bins at the kerb filled with bricks? That could be fun.

Pics or it didnt happen. Also as a reformed bogan, i would like to know how you know it was bogans? It could have been Guido’s, Junkies, a spurned lover, neighbours, lebs or an enemy you have made.

Tell today tonight.

is there any blood on the tracks? and bogans are all safely tucked up in byes at 4am; aren’t they?
