ACT Policing has arrested a 27-year-old man, after he fled from police yesterday afternoon (Saturday 20 April).

Around 3.30pm police were conducting traffic targeting on Namatjira Drive, Fisher and attempted a traffic stop.

The driver failed to stop and police activated lights and sirens, pursuing the car through Chapman.

The car collided with a guard rail on Hindmarsh Drive, Duffy and the driver exited the vehicle, running from police.

After a short foot chase police apprehended the driver and he was taken the ACT Watch House.

The man was charged with a range of traffic offences including reckless and furious driving, driving while disqualified and negligent driving.

He will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning.

Tough guy from Page king hits kid and puts him in hospital with serious head injuries. His punishment thus far is 3 months to make up a bullshit story before facing court.

Oxygen thief number two, quite rightly, faces court tomorrow. Why aren’t they both in court tomorrow?

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to work out why. With this pursuit the cops would have all the evidence they need. In the assault they probably need to interview numerous witnesses (how many people were there in the food court?), take their statements, get CCTV etc. They also probably need to wait till the kid who was bashed is well enough to give a statement, his memory may return. All that takes time.

Its a bit hard to form our angry mob if you keep injecting logic into this. We hvaent even had a chance to start our homo erotic rape fantasies!

you ask most of these people where they were going?
a) to get drugs
b) to get from Charnwood to Banks to see their trashy girlfriend.

c) just waiting for a mate.

I know stories like this aren’t funny, that they’re potentially dangerous and all that…

But I can’t help but laugh. In a previous life where I associated with people of a much lower caliber than I do now, very few of the people I knew had licenses. Lost due to speeding, drink driving – in one case, a guy who “already knew how to drive, what do I need a piece of paper to prove it for?” (He was seemingly oblivious to the law).

The reason it’s funny? Because these guys never get caught driving their kid to the hospital, running to the pharmacy to get medicine, or doing anything that could in any way be considered a reasonable excuse – no, you ask most of these people where they were going?

b) to get from Charnwood to Banks to see their trashy girlfriend.

Hope it was worth it, d***head.

Saw the aftermath of this on the way home. All blocked off and those little triangles everywhere. Thought someone must have died.

What a penis.

There never seems to be a shortage of drivers(disqualified or not) who think they can outrun the plod but end up crashing due to their stupidity.Wake up mofo’s coz commodores equals fail!
