When are they going to do a controlled burn of the Arboretum?

I have vague memories of a time when Black Mountain was hit by a bushfire years and years ago (15-20 years maybe?) that in the aftermath, the Botanic Gardens ended up with some new species sprouting from burnt seeds. Maybe they’re keen to try it again.

all the rubbish left by the beer festival?

This confuses me; why are they burning the Botanic Gardens?
