When are they going to do a controlled burn of the Arboretum?

thatsnotme said :

I have vague memories of a time when Black Mountain was hit by a bushfire years and years ago (15-20 years maybe?) that in the aftermath, the Botanic Gardens ended up with some new species sprouting from burnt seeds. Maybe they’re keen to try it again.

ANG has a fire retardent system whereby it can put up a wall of water around the perimeter in the event of bushfire.
