Two teenagers will face court tomorrow following an incident which occurred at the Bimberi Youth Detention Centre in December last year.
On Sunday, 11 December 2011 ACT Policing attended the centre in response to a report of criminal damage by two detainees, aged 16 and 17.
The boys caused damage estimated to be around $16,500.
Following an ACT Policing investigation, both boys have been charged with common assault and causing property damage.
The boys, who remain in detention, are due to appear in the ACT Childrens Court on Friday March 30.

Yes. Very far out. At least 100km offshore should do nicely.

Why wouldn’t it say that? Are the people who work for Youth Justice now allowed to collect evidence and prosecute people now? You do realise that the Police don’t work at the youth justice centre yeah?

If the same thing happens at the cop shop will the report say that ACT Policing attended the police station…?

It’s called debt. I hear it’s all the rage these days.
They should be kicked out for bad behaviour.
$16,500. Think about that figure, we end up having to spend more money on fixing the damage from the scum of society than what we spend on high education students and apprentices.
So what will they do to them, sent them to Bimberi?
Wait, what?
