Nigel of the Canberra Musicians Club is trying to make up for lazily missing the madness magic and mayhem of Amanda Palmer’s last visit to Canberra with a facebook campaign.
Today I was shocked to discover that Amanda Palmer is coming to Australia in September but not planning to play in Canberra. I lazily failed to attend her last guerrilla gig/thunderstorm/spa bath extravaganza but it still remains one of the most memorable gigs of 2011. So I want her to come back and ride around in the rain and stuff again and I’ve emailed her touring company, Frontier, to that effect, and encourage you, if you care, to do the same (info@frontiertouring.com.au), or perhaps even call them if you’re feeling plucky (9332 2411).
