Here in the bunker there has been considerable bad language prompted by warnings of maintenance induced water discolouration until the weekend.

ACTEW Water customers in the Inner North Suburbs of the City, Turner, Reid, Braddon, Ainslie, Dickson, Lyneham and O’Connor may experience some discolouration of the water supply from Thursday 22 November until Saturday 24 November 2012 due to essential network maintenance.

ACTEW Water apologises for any inconvenience this essential work may cause.

It is difficult to predict which properties the discoloured water may reach, however the discolouration will clear with normal water use.

If the discolouration is still apparent on Sunday 25 November 2012, please call ActewAGL’s faults and emergencies line on 13 11 93.

Maintenance such as this is critical to ensuring that our more than 6,000km’s worth of water and sewerage mains can continue to supply reliable water and sewerage services to our customer.

If it’s yellow let it mellow but if it’s brown push it down, but never drink it 🙂

If its brown, drink it down. If it’s black, send it back.!!
