When the Brumbies headed off on this development tour it was hoped it would toughen them up on the road.

It’s certainly turning into a tough tour.

The Brumbies’ media unit informs us that they’ve gone down to Aviron Bayonnais at Stade Jean Dauger 37-21. The scoreline masking a six try to three deficit.

On the bright side Christian Lealiifano finally got back on the field and reportedly played well. The downside is the lock Sitaleki Timani and scrumhalf Nick White are probably out injured and the team has to turn around to play the French champions Perpignan on Saturday.
